Breathing Life

Into Words

Author, Ghostwriter and Breathwork Specialist

Kerry Edwards is a self-published author, ghostwriter and certified breathwork specialist, three distinct callings that share a single thread. The belief that every person has a story worth telling and a life worth living fully.

Kerry’s story begins at the Royal College of Art, where she completed an MA in Textiles and Fashion before moving to New York to work as a designer in the fashion industry. Travel became her greatest teacher. Through America, South America and Asia she encountered women whose stories stayed with her, voices that were rich, complex and too often unheard. It was on those roads that her passion for writing found its purpose.

After a decade in New York, Kerry returned to the UK, eventually settling on the south coast of England where she completed an MA in Creative Writing at West Dean College, University of Sussex.

As an author Kerry has self-published three works of fiction, including two Young Adult novels and several short stories published in the USA. She is drawn to the voices of women striving to be heard and to the conversations around diversity and identity that matter most to young people today.

As a ghostwriter Kerry works with people who have a story to tell but need a trusted voice to help them tell it. Specialising in narrative nonfiction, she brings deep care, discretion and a love of storytelling to every project.

As a breathwork specialist Kerry works with individuals and groups, helping people release what is held, find clarity and reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose. Breathwork transformed her own life, and she is passionate about sharing that transformation with others.

Everything Kerry does comes back to helping people find their voice and step more fully into the life they are here to live.

Book cover titled "All Our Yesterdays" by Kerry Edwards featuring a black and white photo of a young woman with curly hair, looking over her shoulder.

“I have finished reading   "All our Yesterdays". I was fascinated to read it, not just because I know you. I wish I had read a novel like this when I was in my early twenties to better understand the insecurities and needs of young single women. I recall hearing from you a little about your time in NYC but the detail was fascinating as I felt your conversion from a UK girl in NYC to becoming an NYC girl. You have certainly had a very adventurous life all in all! Structurally it's an unusual novel but that did not stop me from being fully drawn into the series of linked vignettes. I could not put it down  You have a beautiful way with words. You have explored the ultimate search we all have for satisfactory love in all of its dimensions by putting our trust in another human being to share the challenges that life throws in front of us. The older I get the more I think it's a remarkable ambition. I admired your courage and integrity for putting your life out there for all to read. Its a remarkable piece of work and a remarkable life, always holding on to your personal integrity. I hope your life is more settled and happy now.”
